Executive Committees
EQUAA forms executive committees in order to ensure the processes
of the organization
Membership Evaluation Committee (MEC)
The Membership Evaluation Committee (MEC) evaluates in the second instance the applications of institutions that request membership in EQUAA. If an institution is denied the possibility of becoming a member, the Committee will provide the reasons for the denial and the possibilities of becoming a member in the future.
Ethical Committee for Social Inclusion (CEIS)
The Ethical Committee for Social Inclusion (CEIS) is responsible for establishing criteria for social inclusion and ethics in the standards and accreditation processes of EQUAA.
Accreditation Eligibility Committee (CEA)
The Accreditation Eligibility Committee (CEA) is in charge of evaluating in the second instance whether an institution is eligible to begin accreditation with EQUAA.
Continuous Improvement Policy Committee (CPMC)
The Continuous Improvement Policy Committee (CPMC) is responsible for the continuous improvement of the accreditation processes and standards that EQUAA has. It recommends changes related to accreditation services and quality assurance, and suggests improvements in the processes and procedures that support accreditation activities.
